bulletElma - Lori Barker: Sophomore at Duncan High School whose hobbies include dancing, snowboarding and going to the lake.  Her favorite character in a movie was Molly Ringwald in "Pretty in Pink"

 

bulletGrace - Christine Womack: Mathamatics teacher at Duncan High School, Duncan Teacher of the Year for 1997, Finalist for Oklahoma Teacher of the Year in 1998, National Tandy Scholar in 1997.   1st Vice President of Duncan Little Theatre Board of Directors.  Christine has performed in many other DLT productions including "Nunsense", "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever", "Arsenic and Old Lace", The Curious Savage", "Fiddler on the Roof", and "Rumors".  She has also been involved in other productions in the roles of Stage Manager ("Trace of the Trail"), and House Manager ("The Sound of Music" and "Moon Over Buffalo").   Her hobbies include walking, cross-stitch, and photography.  Her favorite movie was "Same Time Next Year".

 

bulletWill - Phillip Raney: A resident of Marlow and is appearing in his firstDLT production. He previously appeared in school productions of The Sound of Music, Oklahoma, Annie Get Your Gun, South Pacific, and the 1999 Civic Capers. He attended Fletcher High School and Great Plains Vo-Tech. He works for John Deere in Chickasha and is also a part-time preacher at the Fletcher Church of Christ. Phillip lives in Marlow with his wife, Sheila, and daughters, Lydia and Hannah. He has enjoyed getting to know his fellow performers and playing a sheriff, which brought back memories of the former sheriff in Fletcher, the late Bill Willis. His favorite actor is John Wayne, but if he received a Tony, he’d thank his wife.

 

bulletJennifer Brown.jpg (87866 bytes)  Cherie - Jennifer Brown: A senior at Duncan High School. Previous experience with Duncan Little Theatre includes the role of Christy Ferguson in Pruning the Family Tree and the role of a snow nymph in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs for DLT’s 1999 Teen Theatre. Jennifer has also done some modeling. She has studied acting with Tom Logon, Sharon Burum, Carrie L. Scott, and Paul Armstrong. Jennifer plans to attend OSU and would like a career in acting.

 

bulletgary.jpg (9447 bytes) Dr. Lyman - Gary Templeton: is a member of the DLT board and is appearing in his ninth role in a DLT production "The Curious Savage", "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever","Arsenic & Old Lace", "A Trace of the Trail", "The Foreigner", "The Fantasticks","Fiddler on the Roof ", "A Few Good Men", and "Rumors".  He was Stage Manager in "Moon Over Buffalo" and the Producer for "A Tuna Christmas".  Gary works at the Halliburton Energy Institute and is also an ordained minister with All Saints Episcopal Church. His hobbies include theatre and singing.

 

bullet Carl - Duane J. Paul: Graduated from Duncan High School then attended Central State at Edmond, OK till entry into the U.S. Naval Submarine Service.  After discharge from the Navy he attended Oregon State University in Corvallis, Oregon.  He performed in "Trace of the Trail" as a guitar playing "drover" and performed the musical skits during the pre-performance and intermission.  Duane is a member of the Oklahoma Songwriters and Composers Association.  Besides playing the guitar, he plays the banjo, harmonica, and hand carved wooden flutes.  His favorite character in a movie was "Rooster Cogburn" played by John Wayne.

 

bullet Virgil - Douglas R. Crook: Last seen on stage in our 1999 performances of The Curious Savage and Moon Over Buffalo. He also built and designed the sets for those shows, Rumors, and A Tuna Christmas. Douglas lives in Duncan with his wife Terri, whom he thanks for helping him with his lines and for putting up with theatre stuff even during OU football season. His favorite thing about this production is that he gets to try to play the guitar on stage.

 

bulletcasey.JPG (13276 bytes)Bo - Casey Johnson: Making his third appearance on a DLT stage. Previous roles include Joker in Glory in the Flower, and Elmer Hopkins in The Best Christmas Pageant Ever. He also works behind the scenes as a stage technician at Duncan High School and the Simmons Center. He is a senior at Duncan High School, and his college plans include majoring in music at Abilene Christian University. In addition to acting, Casey also plays trumpet and piano and likes to compose music. He resides in Comanche with his parents, Jimmie and Pam Johnson, and siblings, Cody, Josh, and Shawna.
