CAST OF CHARACTERS

Reginald Potter, played by Jeff Beyer

The owner of the Hopeless Diamond. Reggie is sweet, a bit muddled, and a sucker for a pretty girl. Money means little, if anything, to him. He believes in the curse and panics at the mention of it.

Daphne Lee Potter, played by Lindsay Faught

Reggie's younger wife. Daphne is glamorous, a gold-digger, with a determination to live the good life. A former Vegas showgirl, Daphne Lee, misses the bright lights and glare of the spotlight.

Felicity Crump, played by Sharon Burum

A sweet old thing, but sharp as her ever-present knitting needles. She's a world-famous detective with her "specialty" being able to see evil lurking in the most innocent of facades - especially physical attributes.

Basil Benchley, played by Ben Hlavaty

A very superior gentlemen. Not quite British, Basil has a tendency to "lord" it over the others. His "specialty" is his ability to "connect point A to point B" using the most far-fetched scenarios. And he never tires of recounting all the cases he's solved.

Kelly Boggs, played by Judy Raines

Kelly is Nancy Drew a couple of decades later. She's still living in the past, when, as a teenage detective, she solved some rather famous cases. Her "specialty" is her supposed scientific knowledge.

Harry Dinker, played by Desmond Jones

Harry accidentally solved several mysteries during his brief stint as a traffic cop. He quit the force to solve mysteries fulltime and believes he's the next Columbo. His "specialty" is his ability to disguise himself.

Hostess for the evening will be Rachel Hadlock

"The Curse of the Hopeless Diamond" is being directed by LoisDawn Jones.
